At Chiropractic Health and Rehabilitation, Dr. Gregory Klyczek and his staff look at your overall health–focusing not only on your spine, but also on your lifestyle. This integrated approach helps determine the most effective care for you.
Spinal Adjustments
After locating any misaligned vertebrae, Dr. Klyczek manually applies gentle pressure to reposition the vertebrae. These adjustments can help restore alignment, improve mobility, and relieve pain and stiffness.
Extremity Adjustments
Adjustment techniques can be used to help with problems in the feet, knees, wrists and shoulders.
Massage
Soft tissue massage is an important part of our treatment. Dr. Klyczek uses a technique called myofascial release which is where gentle pressure is applied to release tension from a tight muscle. Most conditions that are treated by Chiropractors are musculoskeletal in nature and by relaxing sore muscles, we address both aspects of the problem. For a more spa-like experience, we also have licensed massage therapists on staff to give 30 or 60 minute relaxation or deep tissue massages.
Moist Heat, Ice Packs and Electrical Muscle Stimulation
Heat/Ice packs and Electrical Stimulation are therapies used to reduce pain, swelling and irritation by regulating blood flow to the affected area.
Traction
Traction is particularly effective for disc herniations and leg pain or numbness by relieving pressure on the joints of the spine. We offer three different types of traction in our office and the doctor will determine which is best suited for your condition.
X-rays
As “blueprints” of your spine, x-rays can reveal misaligned vertebrae, fractures, arthritis, diseases in your spine, or other problems. Additional tests will be done if necessary.
